I must admit that I am not a great fan of watching football. I do however like playing 5 aside. It would be great to get a women's 5 aside team up and running in Wuhan...

OLD MAPS OF WUHAN
This map and more vintage maps of China form part of the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection housed at the University of Texas. Its great coz they are high resolution scans and you can zoom in and out of them without the image quality going too downhill.

MOON CAKE
The secret to a good cake according to her is lots of eggs and butter. Well it clearly worked there were never many left overs. I also believe that good cake contains a lot of love for the people you have made it for which hers clearly did. This time however I made a monster of a cake and left it out to cool by the light of the moon before icing it with lime and cream cheese icing and filling it with lemon curd. I went on a herb walk organised by a friend and we ate some of the cake afterwards. There are still however enough sizeable chunks left to post.....
